Asian Movies - A Company Man

Wow! That's the right word to describe the beginning of this movie. You may recognize the main actor from the popular Korean TV series Ghost. I was somewhat surprised to see him in this movie, but I must admit the role suit him. Beside him, you will also get to see the medical examiner and detective from the popular series Vampire Prosecutor. Lots of known Korean actors are in this movie.
It was nice how the incorporated an unexpected love story in such a brutal movie. There is lots of somewhat morbid action. The movie switches from the illusion of a normal company to hit man jobs to budding love story. Things get seriously complicated when the main character decided not to kill and target and falls in love with the targets mother. After that pretty much everyone wants him and them dead, even those he thought would help him.
This is not the happiest and brightest movie out there, but it is good. If you enjoy some action mixed with love and compassion give this movie a chance.

Hyeong-do (So Ji-sub) wears a suit and tie like any other rank-and-file white collar worker... except his profession is murder. Seemingly a section chief in the sales division of a metal fabrication company that is actually a front for an organization of hit men, Hyeong-do is regarded as one of the best contract killers in the business. One day, he meets a married woman named Su-yeon (Lee Mi-yeon) and instantly falls in love. Feeling guilty about his bloody past, Hyeong-do tries to quit the "manufacturer", to the surprise of his colleagues and his enemies. Seen as the ultimate betrayal, he is immediately hunted down by his former employers.
