I didn't even know this movie was out until a few days ago and I was pretty surprised. The first movie was pretty awesome and I was really excited to watch this sequel. I must say Gantz II was also interesting, even though I feel it was slightly less successful than the first part.
The new movie literally picked up where the first one left off. This time you don't get random alien fights, but an organized group of aliens determined to put an end to Gantz's little operation. Gantz II is action filled all the way, but there was also some drama involved as well as answers to a few questions that were bugging me from the first movie. The ending was pretty unexpected but also very intriguing. Don't miss this movie! Worth watching all the way!
Kei Kurono (Kazunari Ninomiya) and Masaru Kato (Kenichi Matsuyama) are summoned by the mysterious black globe GANTZ. They continue the fight against extraterrestrial beings and, as they continue to battle, they become stronger. They can't escape unless they kill their enemy, the Saint.
Kei Kurono opts to keep fighting to survive, but Masaru Kato hates the world which is controlled by violence and refuses to fight. As the two friends finds themselves opposing each other in a continuous game of violence, a critical last choice is to be made ...
