Yowamushi Pedal

Episode 25

Seriously, that Izumida is a bit too obsessed with his muscles.
I don't think everything is just about muscles.
Naruko and Jin were going full out, but still... not enough.
Looks like muscles do help after all ^^
Jin's story gave us a nice background about him.
Lots and lots of hard work and persistence.
The same goes for Naruko as well.
The rest were still in a group, keep a consistent pace.
Glad they finally did that checkpoint.
It sure was an intense ride!


Hunter x Hunter

Episode 123

The King can be one scary guy when he wants to.
Ikalgo was pretty pathetic.
His hesitation only brought him more trouble.
Welfin forced him into a corner and got the short end of the stick.
It's nice to see that little octopus can still surprise.
Yet again, the main event is stalled...
I just can't seem to wait to see Gon and the King fight!!
And what happened to Palm?!
Can't wait to see more of that too!


Majin Bone

Episode 1

The beginning was pretty slow.
Characters were also rather simple looking.
It wasn't that bad actually.
Still, I'm not really into this kind of anime.
Better leave it to the kids..


Naruto Shippuuden

Episode 357

Kakashi arc continues..
I like getting as much info about his as possible.
He's my favorite character beside Naruto.
Seeing Itachi again was nice too.
ANBU missions are more revealing in this arc as well.
Good episode.


Keroro

Episode 1

I always wondered what this was.
Guess I got my answer in this episode.
It's a short anime btw, only 3 minutes per episode.
Basically, it's fun and entertaining ^^

I like Ru's little family ^^
So far it looks nice.
I'm kinda skeptical about the whole card game thing though.
The incident with the card was kinda LOL
Looks like this anime has some serious potential to be great!
The hints they were throwing got me interested.
Think I might give this one a few more episodes before I decide.


Blade and Soul

Episode 1

This one sure promises to be action filled!
Story is not bad at all, at least for now.
Too many females & too much boobs might turn me away from this.
It all depends on how the story will progress.
Alka is a very interesting character.
I like her personality and nice hair color.
She is also one scary girl!
I'll give this a few episode before my final decision.


Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou

Episode 1

The animation sure is nice ^^ up to a certain point when it's just flashy.
Characters appearances are pretty good.
Story is a bit weird-ish though.
It's also kinda fun in a weird way.
This has potential, but I'm not really sure what to do.
I might watch a few more episodes before my final decision.
If nothing better comes along I'll probably pick it up.

Anime Movies - Fairy Tail: Priestess of the Phoenix

So we finally got the first Fairy Tail movie. It took me a while to watch it, but I managed to find some time. The opening of the movie was not very typical for Fairy Tail, but what followed soon after were the actions of our favorite characters which are always so unique LOL. Somehow this movie brought out the best of Fairy Tail and their amazing teamwork. It has certainly been a while since I've seen the old Fairy Tail from the beginnings of the series. Lately, the series kinda lost the old charm. The movie definitely brought back everything that we love to see about Fairy Tail. The saving-the-world story was pretty much expected from this kind of anime. 

The characters were so full of life, cheerfulness and new energy that I was caught off guard by it. It also thrilled me to see that despite 170+ episodes and many more manga chapters, Fairy Tail can still pleasantly surprise. At one point it actually felt like a crossover between Magi and Fairy Tail, probably because of the setting. I also like the bold new improvements to the characters and how the story affected them directly.

Now I actually feel sorry that I didn't watch it sooner. It's an amazing movie with lots of actions and unexpected twists that will keep you glued to the screen. Don't miss this one!

Plot:

The film opens with a village called Fire Village being razed by an army of soldiers. Eclair, a priestess from the village, escapes with the aid of an elderly priest, who is mortally wounded and gives her one of the village's two ceremonial Phoenix Stones as the army obtains the other stone.

The film shifts focus to Fairy Tail wizard guildmates Lucy Heartfilia, Natsu Dragneel, Happy, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet, Wendy Marvell, and Carla as they fail a mission to catch a bandit gang leader. On her way home, Lucy encounters Eclair and her birdlike companion Momon. Eclair collapses and Lucy brings her to the Fairy Tail guildhall to recover. Carla has a premonition of Eclair entering the monster-filled Boundary Forest. Lucy and her friends offer to accompany Eclair to protect her, to which Eclair reluctantly agrees. They are attacked en route by Chase, a member of the Carbuncle guild hired by the neighboring Veronica Principality's ruler Kriem, who owns one of the Phoenix Stones, to obtain Eclair's stone.

Eclair tells Lucy and her friends that she has amnesia, and remembers she must bring her stone to a wizard named Kalard living in the Boundary Forest. There they find the remains of Kalard's house to learn he has long since died. Through a holographic message, Kalard reveals himself to be Eclair's father and tells her of a spell he had created to dispel the stone's cursed magic. Eclair asks the Fairy Tail guild to fulfill her father's last wish. Shortly after they return to the guildhall, they are ambushed by Carbuncle's leader Dist and his subordinates Chase, Cannon, and Coordinator, who destroy the guildhall and kidnap Eclair, taking her stone with them.

Fairy Tail's master Makarov Dreyar arrives at the destroyed guildhall with fellow guildmates Gajeel Redfox and Panther Lily, who have been investigating Carbuncle's activity. Gajeel and Lily tell their guildmates that Kriem plans to combine the Phoenix Stones to summon a phoenix that will grant him immortality so he may invade other countries without fear of death. Lucy and her friends form a team with Gajeel, Lily, and Juvia Lockser to go to Veronica and rescue Eclair. There they are opposed by and defeat Dist's subordinates. Meanwhile, Kriem combines the two Phoenix Stones and tries to burn Eclair at the stake as a sacrifice. Momon frees Eclair, and burns to death. As Kriem summons the phoenix, Dist throws him aside to attain immortality for himself. Upon being summoned, the "phoenix" turns out to be a giant, non-avian monster and begins destroying everything around it. Dist climbs on its back to obtain its immortality-granting blood. Natsu follows after Dist and defeats him, but it does nothing to stop the phoenix.

Makarov arrives at Veronica with the rest of Fairy Tail, bringing with him the Arrow of Haja, a magic arrow created by Kalard to destroy the Phoenix Stone, and given to the council for safekeeping. Makarov gives the arrow to Erza to fire at the phoenix's eye where the stone is contained. Meanwhile, Eclair tells Lucy she has regained her memories and remembers she is immortal, having lived for 400 years after drinking the phoenix's blood to survive the raid on Fire Village, which is now Veronica. Makarov explains, however, that destroying the Phoenix Stone will kill Eclair along with the phoenix. Despite Lucy's protests, Eclair accepts her fate. Erza fires the arrow into the phoenix's eye, with Natsu jamming the arrow further through to pierce the stone. Eclair's body fades away with the phoenix, her spirit reuniting with Momon's as they ascend to the sky.

The film ends as Natsu reunites with the grief-stricken Lucy and consoles her over Eclair's death. A montage that plays during the closing credits shows the people of Veronica rebuilding their home, the Fairy Tail members rebuilding their guildhall, and Lucy spotting a young Eclair's spirit among the townsfolk.

Episode 24 Final

Honnouji Academy final showdown.
It sure was flashy ^^
Mommy dearest dominated with ease.
That was to be expected.
I only waited to see how what tactics they'll use to bring her down.
Looks like the nudist beach tactics was only a part of the solution.
Ryuko + Satsuki & their "minions" = total victory
Just when I thought they won, a bigger challenge arose.
It was like watching a double trouble challenge. Awesome!
We finally got to see the Scissor Blade in action too ^^
Amazing final episode! Highly enjoyable.


Kuroko's Basketball 2

Episode 25 Final

Murasakibara almost giving up was priceless!
Shame it didn't really happen..
This game went to a whole new level again.
Kagami was on fire!!
The score was pretty tight and the atmosphere was intense.
It's incredible how much Kagami has evolved.
This season was awesome and full of great games.
Looking forward to a 3rd season ^^
Since it ended in the middle of Winter Cup there's gonna be one for sure!


One Piece

Episode 638

Bartolomeo is my current favorite too.
He's a special kind of monster.
Poor Bellamy never stood a chance against him..
I think his ability is to reverse the opponents attacks.
The harder they punch Bartolomeo, more hurt they get.
Boxer guy sure packed a punch, impressive.
Guess it wasn't enough to take out my fav!
Awesome episode!! First round is over.
Next time, hopefully, a new round will start.

Short Movie 3

Another flashy and fun special ^^
This one was about Rei and his dilemmas.
Picking a swimsuit was LOL
Nagisa's choices for Rei were just too funny.
Haruka tickle party was fun.
It was nice to hear him laugh ^^


Buddy Complex

Episode 13 Final

It's pretty much safe to say I won't be watching season 2.
Yes, there is one... seems like they split it in 2x13 episode seasons.
Why, oh why, isn't there a decent mecha anime out there.....
I had such high hopes for this one, but was disappointed.
Well, at least the final episode was action filled all the way!
Aoba-Hina coupling was nice. Bison's fit was not.
Well, they did manage to explain everything, that's a plus.
As final episodes go, this one was actually really good.


Magi 2

Episode 25 Final

Final episode was epic!
So much power, yet it wasn't enough.
Who knew one talk could resolve more than a bunch of fighting.
This, 2nd season of Magi was much better than the 1st one.
I liked the increase in action and seriousness of things.
The best part was the amazing return of Titus.
I really like his character ^^
Hope it gets a 3rd season!


Brothers Conflict

Special

Chi taking a break in a messy room.
That was so not like her.
The magic lamp story was kinda weird.
Then again, not much is weird when it comes to this anime.
Their wishes were pretty much the same... so predictable.
Well, it was nice to see all the brothers again ^^

Episode 12

After 11 episodes I figured out this was a huge waste of time.
I decided to finish it just to see if they'll explain the time travel thing.
And to see what'll happen with Aoba & Hina.
Their relationship was problematic to say the least so far.
Now even Hina is doing coupling...
Seems like things are getting even worse.
There is only one episode left, so no surprise there.
Looks like it's gonna be an action filled ending.


Witch Craft Works

Episode 12 Final

Was hoping to see an evolved Takamiya.
It was the final episode, but nope.
That guy can't even blow his nose without Kagari.
Almost all his attempts to be strong ended as failures.
Well, this time turned out to be slightly better.
The underwater part was visually enjoyable ^^
It totally distracted me from their conversations lol
Interesting final episode.


Yowamushi Pedal

Episode 24

Looks like this time Kinjou gets to settle his battle with Fukutomi.
That should be really interesting to watch.
Izumida is a terrifying opponent.
It was interesting to see his story of hard work.
Just like everyone else, he has his own reasons to excel.
Naruko & Jin were impressively persistent.
It was awesome watching them.
They even made me feel fired up!


Magi 2

Episode 24

All the characters have noticeably evolved.
This have significantly heated up as well.
Looks like there's just one more episode left according to AniDB.
So guess well get to enjoy a lot of fighting ^^
And what's a better cause than saving the world?
It was awesome seeing them all work together.
Their was opponent was hellbent on not dying.
Seriously, how do you kill something like that?
It was encouraging to see Solomon & reinforcements finally join in!
Final episode should be a blast now that everyone's here.


Hamatora

Episode 12 Final

It was interesting to see Hajime's power.
Shame it didn't last longer..
Moral's twisted planned kept piling trouble.
Making minimum holders fight each other and regular people wanting their powers.
He created a vicious circle, even gave himself new power just to be equal to Nice.
And maybe to become something like a god?
His disturbed assistant was no better than him.
Well, at least some things got explained.
Final Moral vs Nice battle was unusual, but also somewhat satisfying.
Wtf?! Art's alive. What? How?
The ending was a shocker, to say the least.
Are they planning a 2nd season?


Hunter x Hunter

Episode 122

Is it possible?
Finally some King action!
Can't wait for Gon to make his move as well.
The explanation of their mental state was interesting.
Chibi Pouf's are so cuteee ^^
Everyone has changed a bit, but only Pouf is skeptical of that change.
Damn, since when is the King a pacifist?!
Looks like Komugi has made quite an impact on him.
Netero made his move. Impressive!
Seems like the King should not be underestimated.
Netero offered him a nice incentive.
Things are heating up!


Tokyo Ravens

Episode 24 Final

Final episodes are always the best ^^
This one was not an exception from that.
An abundance of action and resolution of the story.
It was highly enjoyable watching them fight.
Harutora's bravery was finally truly shown.
Looks like he has really evolved from the Bakatora image.
That's the Harutora I've been wanting to see.
Really good final episode with a sweet end.


Mahou Sensou

Episode 12 Final

Takeshi vs Gekkou.
The fight we've all been waiting for (well, at least me).
Truth about the accident got revealed too.
Seems like mommy knew everything all along.
Everything got even more intense when others joined in.
Isoshima payed a steep price for bravery.
At least that motivated Takeshi quite a lot.
Trip to the past was intriguing.
The ending was: "Oh, come on...!" *hits the desk*
Looks like there's gonna be another season of this.

Episode 356

Do those snakes creep you out of what?
I wonder if Orochimaru was a half snake from the start or he experimented it into himself..
Either way snakes suit him well as his villain calling card.
The unavoidable childhood flashbacks are back.
Kinoe played a dangerous game with Danzo.
3rh Hokage played Danzo like a fiddle, nicely done!
I totally enjoyed watching that ^^


Kill la Kill

Episode 23

Mako's assessment and all those zeroes ROFL
She is worth so much more than a bunch of numbers.
Sword scissors, now that's the ultimate weapon.
Matoi & Satsuki on the same side is still priceless.
Their mommy is still more than quite a challenge though.
Satsuki's ex-minions finally fully joined the fight.
Nui seems to be very evasive when it comes to dying..
Just one more episode left!
Can't wait to see how it'll play out.


Magical Warfare

Episode 11

Isoshima was dealing with her own weird situation.
Takeshi trying his best to do something.
Gekkou is playing the typical villain.
Shame Oigami got his memories back.
I liked him better when he was one of the good guys.
Maybe there's still some hope left for him.
Just one episode left.
Think it's mostly predictable how things will end.
Still, can't wait to watch it.


Log Horizon

Episode 25 Final

Today we say goodbye to Log Horizon.
Shiroe was definitely my fav character.
He never ceased to amaze me with his skills.
A great strategist who I'll definitely miss.
Even the final episode wasn't problem-free.
There is always something going on to keep Shiroe busy.
Wish they explored the going home plot earlier in the story..
Good final episode.


Space Brothers

Episode 99 Final

It was difficult watching Mutta's frustration.
Hibito's situation was hitting him hard.
Nitta helped a bit, but Hibito's message was bitter-sweet.
Skipping ahead was definitely a good idea.
At least we got to see someone go to the moon ^^
Not the ending we were hoping for, but there is still much room to continue it.


Kuroko's Basketball 2

Episode 24

Damn, Yosen guys were really determined to win.
It was definitely a battle of skills and determination.
Seirin is behind on the score board.
Things aren't looking good for them..
Kagami was amazing this time, like epic amazing!
He surpassed Murasakibara and his previous self.
Just where did he find the strength for it all? Awesome!
Kagami was pretty much a one-man-team.
I'm totally impressed. Great episode!


One Piece

Episode 637

Luffy's cover got somewhat blown.
That Don Chinjao is the last thing he needed.
"Grandpa" sure made things complicated.
Meanwhile, interesting things were happening in the arena.
Is it just me or are there a lot of new characters?
Most of them are crazy strong and dangerous.
It's hard to figure out who's stronger: them or Luffy.
Guess I'll have to wait and see.


Noragami

Episode 12 Final

Rabo vs Yato.
The long awaited head-to-head fight.
Hiyori kinda stole that spotlight ^^"
As always she was just trying to help.
Rabo was too hung up on the past to see that things have changed.
Instead of forcing his desire on Yato, he should have changed himself.
So Yato had the power inside him after all. He just needed a push.
The fight was awesome ^^
Best part was Hiyori's comeback!
I liked all the blushing too, so sweet.
Wish this anime would get another season.

Episode 11

Seeing Takamiya's mom & Kazane way-back-when was fun.
Now I get why she likes Kazane so much ^^
The whole hanging out with Mikage was weird.
Didn't quite get the point of it.
Guess it was a part of the healing process.
Ayaka was pretty busy with her own problems.
Things are quite chaotic at this point.
Wonder what they'll do in the final episode?
Should be good.


Magi 2

Episode 23

Finally, Aladdin shows his full power.
I must admit it's really impressive.
After pulling those aces from his sleeve, Kou empire should reconsider.
Guess the fight has been put on hold after all.
More serious problems have appeared.
Solving this one is not going to be easy at all.
The reunion was nice.
They are going to need all the help they can get.


Buddy Complex

Episode 11

Something strange was going on this time.
It's discouraging when the switch from that to flashback from the past.
The timing for that was not chosen wisely.
Well, on the bright side, the action is back!
Hina and Aoba seem to be getting closer as well.
With only 2 episodes left, I can't help to wonder..
What happened with the whole time travel thing?
I really do hope they answer that before it ends.


Yowamushi Pedal

Episode 23

It was strange to see Onoda's family.
His mom was quite weird.
So it has officially begun!
Onoda was feeling the pressure.
Not surprising since it's his first time.
He's lucky to have friends that support him ^^
You could really feel the intensity, awesome!
Sprinters were very impressive.
Can't wait to see the rest as well.
Great episode.


Hamatora

Episode 11

Nice was being awfully nice to Moral.
Things sure are getting strange.
Relationships between humans & minimum holders are getting worse.
I was surprised Moral would be so open to sharing.
Just what kind of a criminal mastermind is he?!
Guess a pretty weird one.
Well, at least most of the things got nicely explained.
Takahiro part was rather sad.
Didn't see that one coming at all.
Maye that'll be enough to get Nice moving..


Hunter x Hunter

Episode 121

Pouf, Pitou and Gon.
Now that's a dangerous bunch.
Starting confusion went away quickly.
Youpi's growth was impressive and clearly on more levels.
Didn't think he could pull any more surprises.
Guess I was wrong.
Seems like all the hunters that were in more serious battles came out hurt and unable to beat their mark.
Hmm... hope the same won't happen to others.
Really good episode.


Tokyo Ravens

Episode 23

Must admit I got lost along the way somewhere.
Seems like I was more focused on action and less on power struggle.
Well, at least the action is pretty fiery now.
Not that surprising since there is just 1 more episode left.
Things have heated up nicely.
Can't wait to see how it'll play out in the end.
Harutora & co were kinda late to the party.
At least they know how to make an entrance ^^
Good episode.


Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.

Episode 10 Final

Inari finally realized what's going on.
Having powers sure was fun, but not without consequences.
There was a lot of pressure on Uka.
I was impressed she would not falter in her decision.
It was amazing watching them open those gates.
Such willpower and group effort.
Returning the divine power was unavoidable, but still sad.
Such a bitter-sweet ending...
I'd love another season of this ^^

It was about time they switched to adult version.
Still dealing with Orochimaru and his secret labs.
Well, it was a usual filler episode.
This one was not that special either.
Danzo managed to annoy me frequently, though.
Wish the filler arc would end already...

Episode 10

Takeshi was having a hard time dealing with Isoshima's kidnapping.
The next step should be getting her back.
Wonder what kind of a plan are they gonna think of?
Things sure are getting more complicated.
Looks like Takeshi is gonna try harder to control/learn magic.
The last few seconds were very intriguing!


Kill la Kill

Episode 22

Senketsu and Ryuko reunited!
That was a touching moment ^^
Fight with Nui was awesome.
It was about time someone kicked her ass.
Shame she bailed when things got interesting.
Nudist beach newest weapons were kinda ROFL, but it surprisingly worked.
It was a rare sight, Satsuki & Ryuko working together, damn!
How the tables have turned...
Great episode!


Log Horizon

Episode 23

Economics and politics have definitely prevailed.
Such a shame it wasn't well balanced with fights.
This could've been such a great anime.
The goblin thing improved the action part, but the tug-of-war with People of the Land is now simply annoying.
It puzzles me how this got a double season when so much better anime didn't.
Just one more episode left and still not much is happening.
I won't miss this when it's gone.


Space Brothers

Episode 98

Parts of Mutta's & Hibito's childhood.
Mutta was obviously concerned about Hibito.
Hibito was dealing with it in his own way.
The situation is not looking good.
Well, kinda uneventful episode.


Kuroko's Basketball 2

Episode 23

Only a few episodes left.
I wonder if we'll get to see the Winter Cup finals.
The way they are stretching the games now, it's not very likely.
I actually like the prolonged games, but at this rate it needs way more episodes.
As it nears its end I kinda want to watch it more.
Murasakibara sure was on fire this time.
Flashbacks to middle school days were interesting.
They definitely provided the info needed to better understand the current situation.
This was another intense episode.

Bartolomeo looks like a unique character.
He wasn't very popular with the audience either.
Bellamy, Bartolomeo & King were the only real competition.
Well, at least for this round.
Everyone else was just cannon fodder.
So the fun has finally started, nice ^^
Can't wait to see Luffy fight.

Episode 11

Seems like Rabo & Yato have a past.
Hiyori's sudden amnesia was weird.
It's a shame Yato isn't using his art to make money.
But I don't think that's the point of being a god..
Guess Nora had something to do with Hiyori's condition.
Things got pretty dark when Yato & Rabo confronted each other.
The info about their past was interesting.
Ending of this episode was pretty sad.
Hope things will get back on track in the final episode.
